Read Across America day can be an exciting time for young learners as they get to explore many types of books that meet all different types of interests. Through these virtual reality headsets, my students will experience a read aloud by two, exciting authors as they read their own book that they wrote! My students will also be able to listen to the motivation behind their story which can ignite excitement among my little readers! With these new virtual reality headsets, my students will be able to experience a destination that is far away, right in front of their eyes, in a matter of seconds! It can be very hard to take field trips nowadays because of expenses for buses, limited time in a school day, and special needs of students. The virtual reality headset will take all of these problems and make them disappear!
