" Children learn to read by being in the presence of books. The love of knowledge comes with reading and grows upon it." The passion for reading is built on how reading is taught. I choose nonfiction and fiction leveled readers to pinpoint my students reading difficulties and needs. It is important to be surrounded by books that boost the confidence and excitement of students. I want each student to read at their level and learn to love reading in their own pace. This is exactly what they need. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level.
