A rug is something used every day in my classroom. This coming year, I want to focus on fiber arts, textiles, and weaving. This rug shows the beauty in textile art while also serving its purpose as a space to learn. The beauty of this rug will inspire the students of what they can achieve as it is a work of art on its own. At the beginning and end of each class, we gather on the rug to share and learn. The rug is not only a place to learn about art. It is a place to share our experiences, our artworks, our thoughts, and our dreams.
