A five year old's mind is a sponge and they want so desperately to know everything. Reading books on their level allows them to be challenged but successful. I know my class would love having a variety to books to read, and that would build on what they already can do. Sensory integration and motor control drives the learning in a young child. Kindergarteners are often busy bodies who have a short attention span, are restless, lack poor posture and coordination, but have a thirst for knowledge. Young scholars need to move. With the help of flexible seating like the Norwood Stools, BoduGood Wobble Cushions, and Gaiam Balance Balls, students will get to develop the needed skills to open the door for the best learning possible.
