Hello! My name is Sarah and this will be my first year as a classroom teacher. Working in a special education school in New York City with a majority of my students coming from low-income families, I want to be able to provide my students with an engaging learning environment. As a firm believer in a student centered classroom, I want to be able to create an inviting and engaging environment for all learners. Many of my students absorb information through a more hands-on approach, so incorporating manipulatives as well as flexible seating to help my students who have various needs to focus and want to learn. Please help me be able to create a classroom for my students with special needs and for my future students who enter my classroom. Thank you so much!
