Students in our community have a close relationship with local rivers and fish; to bring in salmon through the Classroom Aquarium Education Program, my aquarium will need to have an accompanying chiller. This program will deliver salmon eggs early next year and give students an opportunity to follow the life cycle of salmon in real time! Students have also expressed an interest in problem-based learning through coding and technology. I would like to give students an opportunity to design and create solutions in their community through the use of a 3-D printer. One of their first designs would involve designing an alternative to a fish ladder used at some dams.
