My students will be introduced to a new Social Studies Curriculum this year as they start their new school year in September. With your help, they will be able to touch, feel, and visualize history with these materials. It is imperative that the children are provided with an authentic, yet tangible learning experience so that they can understand how our society was developed. Students can be taught history, however, it becomes much more meaningful and memorable when you see what you are learning about. I have hand-picked materials that align to each unit, which will make a difference in my students' learning experience. The materials include books, items people have used in the past, and visual charts and posters to enhance their learning rather than just reading about it theough textbooks.
