I am a first year teacher in Richmond, CA, in a Title 1 school. We do not have a PTO so it is hard to get the funds from parents at the school for things like this. My students would greatly benefit from a printer and ink in the classroom so that learning can be more accessible for them wherever they are at in their development. This will help in printing their writing projects, letters home to parents, and help them print what they are starting to learn in typing. Most of my students do not have access to printers at home, and by having one in the classroom would help them learn what they are capable of with the help of a printer, and seeing their online work put on a paper. Thank you!
