My project includes two class sets of books, Stone Fox by John Reynolds Gardiner and No Talking by Andrew Clements. These books will allow all students to access the same text. This will allow my students to create meaningful conversations about text and grow as learners. Creating meaningful conversations about text will also positively impact our school community. This will create a conversation starter for each child so that all children can be included and feel a sense of community. Current magazines will allow students to stay updated and excited about events occurring in today's world. Also included in my project are TIME magazines for each child. This will allow students to create opinions and meaningful conversations about today's society. This will help my students be more familiar with what is going on today and prepare them for their future.
