Thank you for taking the time to read about my project. With your help, my fifth graders will be able to choose from several seating options throughout their long school day. Laptop desks, stools, and stadium seats are perfect options for students who are not comfortable sitting in the traditional school desk. For those who do like the desks, products such as the wobble cushions and chair cushions help them get some of their fidgeting out! As their teacher it is part of my job to provide them with an environment that they are eager to come to each day and are ready to focus. It is also my job to provide them with a place where they feel safe and comfortable. These products will allow me to reach my goal as a teacher, and give my students a classroom they want to come to and work in each day! The goal of this project is to purchase items for my students to use on a daily basis. With these flexible seating options my students will be able to work comfortably around the room in small groups which is commonly done throughout the day in the classroom. Students come with all different needs, and I have noticed, over the years, how important it is to be able to provide my students with options. Now they will be able to have options when it comes to their seating!
