My students need to feel welcomed and invited to our classroom environment. They also need to be able to view classmates as family. This can be done with a safe, nurturing, and welcoming environment. This project is one step toward creating an environment that children love to be in. This sofa will be used to provide a warm and gentle place for the students to relax when they are feeling stressed or overwhelmed with the struggles of their lives. After this project is funded, I want to be able to continue to redecorate and rebuild the classroom environment. My students deserve the best that our collective minds can provide and this project is the first step toward that.

About my class
