My job is to meet each student where they are at socially, emotionally, and academically. Students range all over the spectrum in my classroom, and each learns best in different ways. In order to reach my technology-driven students, I use various mediums to help students grow academically. The students spend the school year working on several problem based learning projects that require them to focus and complete research on Chromebooks. Having noise cancellation headphones will allow students to listen to podcasts, videos, and multimedia presentations. Headphones allow students to focus on their learning, reduce the number of distractions, and make lessons more easily heard. Not every student learns in the same way, and many students, who are used to using computers and watching television, learn better when using presentations in class or working individually with computer lessons. These headphones will allow me to meet my students' needs and help them be successful in a quiet learning environment.
