Having a revolving book stand allows my students easy access to our classroom library. The book stand can hold up to 200 books, with 30 display spaces in 3 different sizes, making book choices appealing and accessible. The book stand also offers students a chance to store picture books and chapter books by series, author and/or genre in an organized fashion. This will also serve as an aid in teaching and motivating my students how to maintain and take responsibility for storing books in our classroom library. A magnetic display shelf can attach to our white board, which can hold anchor texts related to our unit of study. Our classroom has fluorescent lighting; the tranquil blue and whisper white covers will reduce harsh glare, allowing for a more relaxed, calm environment for each student to feel comfortable in.
