My students are motivated to learn through active, engaging, and highly structured hands-on opportunities during large and small group activities in the classroom. Because of the special needs of my students, early access to literacy exposure is vital to their development in language, cognition, social, and emotional skills. Incorporating a puppet show into the classroom repertoire will bring literacy to life in a highly engaging and exciting way for my young learners. Their engagement in these stories will develop their classroom skills and their motivation to learn, preparing them for a lifelong love of learning and engagement in the classroom.
