With the addition of 2 iPads (with protective cases), my students will have the opportunity to more fully engage throughout the day, while also gaining independence. During our independent math and literacy centers, they will be able to explore and listen to interactive books, learn new concepts with motivating math and literacy games, as well as have access to games and materials that are individualized to help them meet their learning goals (all while practicing their fine motor skills!). These diverse learners deserve an opportunity to utilize technology that supports their learning needs while also gaining necessary independence skills. With iPads, my students will be able to access materials that would otherwise be out of their reach. They will also benefit from a device that allows them to be more independent in their learning.
