Having only a handful of Ipads in classroom would not only benefit the students but teacher as well. Along with the Ipads having access to Scholatic Readers will vertically align students to read more and stay engaged in the subject. Ipads are excellent educational tools as they are readily available, they do not require high extensive training to use them and come equip to use with most educational programs that schools already use. It is also easy to find content and apps to use that will broaden a students horizons. The aid of Ipads and Scholastic readers will give students opportunities to create and share content with other students. As a teacher I can more easily integrate instruction in cross-curricular lessons using the Ipads, for example when studying Solar System, a use of a reference app comes to life with high-resolution photos, videos, animation, music, and text. Furthermore the Scholastic readers can help a child imagine in greater detail and boost their reading skills.
