I am in my 3rd year of implementing flexible seating into my classroom. These stools will be used as a flexible seating option in my classroom. The stools promote movement to help increase attention and focus. Allowing the students to wiggle or move while completing work is a great way for a student to burn off extra energy. Plus, the specialized stools helps students develop core muscles while balancing on the seat. Additionally, some students find it easier to focus on the classwork when they are allowed to move. Increasing student attention or focus will help students engage in their learning.
