I would like to put my two best read-alouds into my children's hands in their own home. There are two special chapter books that I read aloud each year that create such emotion for all of us that I would like my students to have the books in their own hands in their own homes as I read aloud from my home so that they associate books with cultivating emotions and creating powerful memories. Listening to me read will be the vehicle for this experience, but the book in their hand will be the prize.
