I teach 5 math classes of approximately 29 students each. My students are required to sit for 7 hours a day which is a big transition from their elementary school. That’s hard to do as an adult, let alone as a child. When a child sits for this long, they find it difficult to focus and stay on task. They need fidget space to let their brains expand. With these balance balls, students can wiggle and get their energy out without disrupting their learning or the learning of others. With limited space, these seats will fit easily against a desk and allow for room for the teachers to move as well. These could help to cut down on the amount of students out of their seats or taking unnecessary bathroom and water breaks.
