My students will benefit from having these Spanish books available in our classroom. It is crucial to have reading materials for them to learn reading strategies and to become critical thinkers. They are in the process of learning to read, write, speak, and listen in their native language and a second language. These books will be a resource for them to speak in front of their peers and listen to others have meaningful conversations. These books will increase my students reading fluency comprehension in Spanish! My students will be able to make text-to-self connections with the characters in the stories. This will help promote deeper thinking!
