Having a carpeted area for students is important for incorporating literacy into our art classes! Being able to explore books sparks imagination and creativity amongst our young artists! Being able to gather together, in​ a carpeted area in our all tile classroom would provide comfort for up to 500+ students! (Not all at the same time, of course!) Our art class has a large area in the front where a carpet would be absolutely perfect. Students will then be able to then sit comfortably, as a class, while I read a book to them before our amazing art making begins.
