Many of my students have difficulty with behavior and attention maintenance. Research has shown that with the use of positive behavior intervention and the use of technology to reward positive behavior, students respond to teacher feedback more appropriately. Students learn from educational games, speech related games etc. from repetition and visual stimulation. By providing my students with the use of an Ipad in the classroom, all students, disability or not, will become more successful not only with classroom interventions but with being able to learn with visual access about thematic topics we are learning about in class throughout the school year. As a teacher, I will also be able to track progress on IEP goals for my students with disabilities in order to best meet their needs.
