As a first year teacher, in my very own classroom, I am starting from the ground up! The materials and supplies I am requesting for my students will help me meet the needs of each one of my students. Having wobble stools and stability cushions (flexible seating), will improve my student's focus and will allow them to learn in an active manner during whole group instruction. Students will be able to use these wobble seats during small group instruction as well as during their learning centers. I want my students to feel as comfortable as possible in my classroom. Also having hands-on math manipulatives such as dominoes to use during their learning centers for students to add two numbers together and a 120 chart will help my students become fluent in counting to 120. By donating to my project, you will not only help to improve and increase my student's attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement! I hope you can help me make my very first classroom a success!
