I am a first year teacher at a title 1 school which means some of my students may not have access or the money to get the supplies they need. I want to be able to supply my students with the tools and resources to be successful as their school career is just beginning. As a first year teacher, I have put quite a bit of love, time, and money into my classroom already. This is where I would love your help! Students need books, pencils, crayons, markers, glue, wipes, paper, and the list goes on. Books are one of the main things that I have requested. One of my goals this year is to instill the value of kindness into our classroom through the use of relevant literature for children. The books that I have chosen do just that. They talk about being kind to one another, how to be a friend, not leaving anyone out, etc. Having the tools, supplies, and resources available will help my students be able to grow as little learners in my classroom. I hope to create a lasting impact of their lives just like my teachers have done for me.
