Headphones are needed to keep my students focused on the learning targets they are working on during technology centers. Many of my students have limited attention span and without headphones, the students in other centers will run to any type of played media in the classroom. My students need quality headphones to allow them to listen to and access the curriculum through educational programs, using read-along books, and our listening station. The headphones will receive daily use in multiple ways. We will use the headphones for our listening station, four will be shared and used on our iPads, and the remaining two will be stationed on our classroom computers.
