During the day, my kindergarteners are sitting on chairs or on the floors. With the flexible seating options, my students will be able to choose where they sit during independent work or during workstations. Flexible seating will allow them to be more focused and more engaged. Students will be able to all the energy out and will allow them to stay more focused and less disruptive to their classmates. While some will pick a comfy soothing bean bag chair, yoga balls or even a cushion Students would be able the to choose from the variety of different seatings. I have seen how other students in other classes have benefited from the flexible seating. They will be so elated to have a choice of where to sit.
