This is my first year teaching and I have the honor of teaching AP Calculus AB. Most of my students cannot afford graphing calculators. With this classroom set I will have the opportunity to provide calculators during class so student can learn skills to earn credit on the AP exam. I will also be able to download programs onto the calculators so they can have visible representation of problems we do in class. I feel students need multiple resources to understand topics. Problems dealing with the antiderivative, area between two curves, and limits will have beautiful color displays to aide students on the TI-84 Plus CE calculators. These calculators would be such an asset to my classroom.
