As an educator, I firmly believe that setting high standards and promoting confidence in learning, regardless of skill, ability, and/or disability, allows students to understand their strengths with a positive mindset. Working in a school where nearly all students come from low-income households, I feel it is my duty to inspire my students to believe that they can truly accomplish anything with effort and motivation. The materials I am asking for will be used during in-person teaching as well as virtual learning this upcoming school year. Some items such as the laminating machine, self-adhesive name plates, and tote bags, will be used to protect students' items and classwork during classroom deep cleanings/sanitizing. Other materials such as the "Outdoor Science Lab for Kids" will be used to engage students outside during mask breaks for socially distanced science investigations. Thank you in advance to anyone who helps fund my project! I am so appreciative of anyone who can donate, and I know my students will greatly benefit from the materials I have sought after.
