There's an abundance of research showing that the colors of a room or workspace can profoundly impact the mood and productivity in that space-- which is why my new classroom desperately needs a facelift. Will you paint our room with me? My students will benefit from having a relaxing, comfortable place to learn science and social studies this year, and the yellowing (quite literally) walls in my new room don't lend themselves to inspiration or innovation. I've requested paint and painting supplies to re-paint my classroom in gray and green tones before the school year begins, so I can welcome my students in style!
