Our special little students are coming to a school environment for the first time, and though a few are toilet trained, many are not. Our goal is to help our students learn and become more independent to be kindergarten ready! At this time, as we are working on toilet training goals, we are changing diapers and pull-ups on a mat on the floor. A baby changing table is not appropriate for us, since most of these students are larger than the recommended weight and height limit for those. Having steps up to the changing table is a necessity for us teachers, since many students get too heavy to lift. We would be so thankful if someone would be able to provide this necessary piece of equipment that would help our class so much.
