There are so many ways that flexible seating positively impacts students. Here are just a few! Flexible seating empowers students by giving them a choice in our class environment. Each day students have that autonomy to decide where they will be most engaged. Studies show that students need to move. Rocking and wobbling on flexible seating keeps students more alert and focused. When a student is uncomfortable they are distracted and unproductive. Flexible seating encourages students to find a comfortable spot that helps them feel calm, focused and safe! Flexible seating promotes a strong community filled with autonomy, health, comfort and collaboration.
