I love the mobility of tablets. Students who can move around the classroom, even lie on the floor to work, are always more engaged. Learning through technology based items is key to academic success and I want ALL my students to have the same opportunities. I have over 50% of my students from economically challenged homes and they do not all have access to computers on a daily basis. The Samsung Galaxy tablets will enable those students who are not on grade level to work independently in the mornings on intervention sites such as Lexia and MobyMax. Additionally, all students will use these tablets for research in science, social studies and writing.
