When is the last time you remember diving into a good book while sitting in a hard chair and desk? I don't remember either! I aim to make my classroom library calm and cozy, while providing a unique variety of genres for children to choose from. Reading is a challenge for many of my students and if they are going to try their best everyday, then they should be comfortable! The items I'm requesting will aid in my students' learning. With the pillows and chairs, they can find a welcoming spot and relax while engaging in reading. The items will provide a different type of stimuli for students and it is something that I do not have access to in my school. Students will use these during their independent reading time which happens for a minimum of twenty minutes a day.
