These ukuleles will give students a chance to participate in one of the four music clubs at our school free of cost. Teaching songs on ukuleles allows our school to connect our extra curricular activities to the 4th grade music curriculum which involves learning about the four instrument families. These families include the brass, woodwind, percussion, and string families. Having these instruments will also allow our ukulele club to put on performances for our student body and educate all grade levels about the instrument. The instruments will also be used to teach 2nd grade students about producing sound when they study this subject in their science studies.
