Incorporating flexible seating into my classroom will give students the opportunity to take charge of their own learning. They will be able to pick a place within the classroom where they can do their best work and have the ability to move spots if they need to. For students who struggle to sit in traditional desks, this will be a great opportunity for them to pick a non-traditional seat that will help them learn in a way that best meets their needs. Using a floor table or wobble chair will help students focus more and give them an avenue to be in control of their own learning.
