My students come to school on a daily basis with more worries than the average adult. Our school system and school has an incredibly high number of children on free or reduced lunch. Circumstances aside, my first graders prove to be inquisitive, creative, and capable children. I believe it is the responsibility of educators to provide these children with real-world experiences that provide the opportunity to succeed and break an unfortunate cycle.

About my class
