Kindergarten is such an important season in life as it helps teach kids about how to be good students and how to be good members of our school community. Having a "meeting rug" will help teach not only the children in my classroom this year, but even in future years, how to be respectful of other peer's personal space but it will also give them a more exciting way to learn than just sitting at their desks. A "meeting rug" will give me a better chance to have better management over my classroom in helping make sure that the children are focused on me and what I'm teaching them instead of them playing with things at their desks.

About my class
