Our Social-Emotional Classroom consists of multiple grade levels, supporting children to expand their academic, social and emotional, and independent functioning skills to promote success in and outside of the classroom.The students in our class strive for improvement through collaboration, hands-on experiences and learning creatively. Together, we have created a community of learners committed to working hard and having fun. Every child has capabilities, talents, and strengths; sometimes, all it takes is exposure or motivation. My mission as a teacher, is to motivate students and make learning fun in a welcoming and social learning environment. I strive to infuse social-emotional learning while providing a multi-sensory rich environment. It’s my objective to develop engaging lessons while differentiating instruction, ensuring concepts are taught at a level that is appropriate for each child.
