Currently we have about fifteen quality music stands for forty kids to share. This leaves us with some students having to share three to a stand. Seeing music becomes a problem; as does sitting with good posture. Many instruments are designed to be played with one person on a stand. Our high school students are playing music that is multiple pages and do not have the room on their stands to share. New music stands will decrease the amount of attention and effort it takes to play with a broken stand and allow students the opportunity to focus on playing music.
