Our classroom is a safe place where we all come together as a school family. We do activities at tables and on the floor. Our carpet situation in our room is very limited. We have one large carpet (very old) that is very tattered and worn. This carpet embodies the entire feeling of our class; that we are part of a family, and that many different types of children work together to create a family atmosphere in our room. As the carpet portrays all of us working together, the students will be building, reading, collaborating, and playing games together on it. It will help create that special feeling of our safe school home.
