My students and I need books! I have selected many books because books are so important in our preschool classroom. They are a necessity to help my students learn about the different themes, but they are also necessary to be readily available throughout the classroom for the students. I believe that having books readily available for my students will encourage them to love reading and learn to use books as tools. This is one major stepping stone in helping my students to become lifelong learners! The books that I have selected will be used throughout the year to introduce the themes and to be placed in each center so that my students can read them while they play. These books can be used as tools and give my students examples of different ways that they can play and different roles that they can take on while in that center!
