The keyboards and stands I am requesting will be added to my classroom and used by my students throughout the school year. I am part of a cohort of 8 elementary teachers in my district with 1:1 iPad devices. Because of this, my students type a lot and utilize their iPads for research, digital collaboration with one another and other students across the country. Typing with the on-screen iPad keyboard doesn't allow them to develop correct keyboarding skills, as it is difficult to use two hands on-screen. The stands allow them to use their iPads while typing, as well as taking written notes during research collection.
