Children’s books are an excellent resource to teach your children social-emotional skills such as manners, identifying emotions, bravery, problem-solving, and dealing with disappointment. I will be using these books during our daily morning meetings. I have noticed a big need for social-emotional learning. My goal is to focus a lot more on building the children's social-emotional skills. I researched the best read aloud books for developing social-emotional skills and these are the books I found. Many of these books were on multiple different website lists, specifically We're All Wonders, Jabari Jumps, and The Bad Seed. These social-emotional books will encourage empathy, kindness, and help kids think about grief and anger.
