High school students are no different than elementary or middle in that they fidget, lose attention, and need to feel at home and safe. I feel like flexible seating such as a stability ball chair would allow students to choose how and where they sit based on how they learn best, and their personalities. Every student deserves to feel comfortable. My students love the welcome environment my classroom has and I think flexible seating would just amplify that feeling. It will also be great to use flexible seating as rewards for students that are working hard and trying their best.
