My students come from a small suburban town with many English Language Learners. Due to the dip in the economy in recent years, families have really struggled with providing basic necessities for the children of our community. Throughout this, students are faced with a choice about what education means to them, and how it will help them to be successful in life beyond middle school and high school. My project will help to foster a love of learning in science!
