The students will use the Play Doh during individual, small group, and whole class counseling sessions. When a child is kneading the Play Doh, it will make some sessions more comfortable to speak with the counselor about situations that may arise. When working with some students, if things don't go as they want, they may want to quit. I want to show students that trying is everything. "You're never a loser until you quit trying." ~Mike Ditka. Students need to learn that when we make mistakes, it is just evidence that they have tried to accomplish something. It does not mean they have failed at something.
