Thank you for visiting my Donors Choose Page! I am blessed to have a job that after 16 years, I still love. I am a second grade teacher in Bolingbrook, Il. My students come with great economic need, as 95%+ are considered low income. Approximately 42% of my school is LEP (limited English proficiency), learning a new language can often be daunting process. Although these statistics do not define these lovable, smart, compassionate super star students, it does make it challenging at times. My number one goal as an educator is to foster a love of learning to all of my students- I want my students to feel safe, happy, and welcome walking into the door of my classroom. I appreciate you taking the time to read my page- your support is greatly appreciated! :)
