Alternative seating will give my students the feel of control in their learning. They will gain freedom when in small group. My students like to work around the room when working in small group or independently. The stools and cushions will add to our collection to enhance student learning. The additional seating works toward positive behaviors in the classroom. The students tend to be more focused and stay in one place during activities when they are in control of their learning. The new seating will allow students a choice in their seating and it gives them an independence when working as well. The stability wobble cushions will be used to transport around the room wherever the students choose to work. The learning stools will be used to sit at tables or desks rather than using a traditional chair. The stool will give them mobility when working at a station. My goal is to improve student success while students are controlling their learning environment.
