In my classroom, we do a lot of center or station work. We do this in both reading and math. We rotate around the room so the students are up and moving as much as possible. Having Kindle Fires in the classroom will aide students so they can have more individualized work. They also keep students engaged in what they are learning. We can watch videos about what we are learning, play games that relate to the topics we are learning about, and use them for motivation for students to stay focused. Students will be able to use the tablets for sight words, math facts, fluency, memorization, addition, subtraction, reading, and so much more!
