I can't wait for students will be thoroughly love and engage in playing ukuleles! Ukuleles are an easy step into playing chords, songs and creating your own music. This will be a special project for Fifth Graders first but eventually will but used by almost 800 students in my school. Students’ faces will shine when they get to play and create songs they love on ukuleles! Most pop songs today are difficult to play for a ten year old but ukuleles simple four string design makes it incredibly easier. They will be able to learn chords quickly and in turn play and create their own music. Ukuleles will allow students to take ownership of their musical ideas.
